3 weeks - 3 trips

July has been a whirlwind around here!

TRIP #1 was our wedding weekend in New Jersey, which I've already posted about here

TRIP #2 was our annual pilgrimage to Eagle Camp... a.k.a. heaven here on earth.  EC is on an island out in the middle of Lake Champlain, with the Green Mountains on one side and the Adirondacks mountains on the other.  Now you know why its considered heaven on earth.  What a week we had!!  For the first time ever we didn't have any rain!!  And, at age 3 3/4, this was certainly Thomas' year!  He thoroughly enjoyed so many friends, all the activities, and even playhouse.  Yes, that's right - 3 hours a day for mama and daddy all to ourselves for him to play with friends, do crafts, play on the swings, dress up.  Aaaahhhh!  We talked it up big the month prior to camp to get him pumped and it certainly did the trick.  Thomas also met a new love - Alice.  They were perfect together.  Unfortunately, Alice lives in Colorado, so I guess it will just be Summer Lovin for them.
Lots of bubbles.  This next pic looks bad, but actually I snapped it at the exact moment a bubble passed in front of the camera.  Neat.
Girlfriend Alice - let the chase begin!
Gotcha!  Oh, but he was easy!

Swimming with Daddy and Emma (our adopted daughter)
Thoroughly enjoying the camp show
The breathtaking sunsets

TRIP #3 was to visit our family in Connecticut at "the cottage".  The cottage has been in my mom's family for almost 50 years and my aunt, uncle, cousin Jenn and her twin girls reside there in the summer.  We had more beautiful weather days full of beach, ice cream truck, fun with cousins, and a rousing game of Left, Right, Center.  LRC is pretty much the easiest game going, requires no skill, and is enjoyed by all ages - 3 to 71 on this particular evening.
my cousin Jenn gets crazier by the minute
breakfast with cousins - adorable

While I enjoyed all our travels and visits immensely, I'm beat!  (not to mention Mount Washmore staring me down!) Looking forward to a long, quiet August here at home, welcoming friends and family to our beach and yard and home.

Your little man is ADORABLE. Loved his pics, and the sunsets. Time with family is always so precious.

How are you making out with Mount Washmore? ;-)
